For each person over the age of 16 named on your application, you must send us at least two forms of personal identification. One of these must show your current address, and at least one must contain your signature. One form of identification must also have a photograph.
Examples of photo identification: a passport, driving licence or travel pass.
Examples of non-photo identification: birth certificate, medical card, bank statement, utility bill or a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or benefit agencies.
If you do not own any photographic identification, you must provide a passport-size photograph of each person aged 16 or over, with their signature on the back.
You can upload your documents as part of the online application process done through Housing Online. More information about this, including step-by-step guides can be found on this page: Making it easier to provide identification.
We no longer accept documents by email or post.
